This commercial project was undertaken by Acadia Landscape Constructions for Laing O'Rourke Constructions Australia. The Landscape Architects were Hassell.
The project was a new hospital for the military personnel based at the RAAF Base located in Amberley QLD.
Scope of works of the landscaping package including installation of an automatic irrigation systen, including pump, underground tanks and underground pump holding pits, Sub Soil drainage, Drainage swale and overland flow creation, garden areas, concreting, hydrodseeding and hydroshrub mix spraying. The extensive use of white polished pebble mulch and black rive rock mulched cr4eate impressive contrasting feature features throughout the project.
The hospital has been occupied by Military Staff since May 2010 and the finished landscaped areas create a natural serene environment for staff working and entering the area.
